PARTNERSHIP AGREED BETWEEN RETELIT AND TECNOINVESTIMENTI FOR THE CONNECTION OF ALL GROUP COMPANIES AND OFFICES

Retelit, a leading Italian provider of data services and infrastructure to the telecommunications market, and Tecnoinvestimenti, among the Digital Trust, Credit Information & Management and Innovation & Marketing Services leaders in Italy, both listed on the STAR segment of Borsa Italiana, have concluded an agreement for the provision of a dedicated connectivity network. In particular, the partnership stipulates that Retelit shall provide and manage a dedicated fiber optic Multiprotocol Label Switching network, with maximum available performances (primary service and backup with variable capacity from 100Mbps to 10Gb) and ensure the development of connections between the two data centers in Padua and Modena at up to 40+40Gbps and to all Tecnoinvestimenti Group companies. 

It is crucial for Tecnoinvestimenti to be able to rely on cutting-edge infrastructure which guarantees the safe and rapid sharing of information between the various Group companies and Infocert, the largest European Certification Authority for Certified E-mail, Digital Signature and Digital document storage services.  Numerous services are in fact provided through Infocert, including Disaster Recovery and the protection of data at all offices. 

In response to the Tecnoinvestimenti Group’s needs, Retelit has developed a tailor-made solution, designed and constructed in-house by a team of experts who will support the customer also in terms of management and maintenance, based on the most reliable, scalable and flexible connectivity in the world for its VPN networks.  The service is completely customised in terms of security, operational continuity and traffic management, according to the Group’s specific needs.  The technology utilised permits level 3 MPLS any-to-any level services and fast connections of up to 40+40Gbps at very low latency.  In addition, the high quality service level permits the reservation of “prized” traffic flow bandwidth, protecting against network congestion.
