Retelit strengthens its team and accelerates its integration and innovation strategy. Guido Bertinetti is the new Chief Integration Officer

Retelit, the first Italian telecommunications operator entirely dedicated to the B2B market, has appointed Guido Bertinetti as Chief Integration Officer. In this key role, the new manager will lead the company’s integration strategy following recent corporate operations, aiming to enhance innovation, efficiency, and productivity, with the goal of strengthening Retelit’s leadership in the B2B market.

Bertinetti’s appointment confirms Retelit’s growth strategy, which in recent months has taken significant steps to strengthen its presence in the telecommunications market: the agreement for the acquisition of Sparkle – signed jointly with the Ministry of Economy and Finance – and the agreement for the acquisition of BT Italia’s Italian operations. This expansion trajectory has also been made possible thanks to the strategic and financial support of shareholder Asterion, which continues to actively support the company’s development.

With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, Guido Bertinetti has held top positions in major international operators such as TIM, Orange, and Open Fiber. His career is marked by a strong international perspective and deep knowledge of the entire value chain of the sector. He began his career at Telecom Italia, contributing to the launch of the third mobile operator in Spain, later integrated into France Telecom. He then joined Ericsson, where he was part of the management team for over a decade, leading operations in Iberia and the United Kingdom. In 2022, he became Chief Network and Operations Officer at Open Fiber. Over the years, he has managed large-scale operations in fixed and mobile networks, coordinating major M&A projects, integration processes, and transformation initiatives.
