Modern, flexible, scalable and technologically advanced, the fiber optic network fully owned by Retelit expresses the strength and unique nature of the company. Extending over 16,000 km, 12 Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) and 12,842 on-net sites.
Retelit’s own network in Italy runs along national, provincial and municipal roads, connecting major Italian cities and covering all major national catchment areas both in terms of population and business activities.
The Retelit network extends across national borders through a pan-European ring with PoP’s in Frankfurt and London and a presence reaching across 19 countries - from Marseille to Hong Kong - thanks to Retelit’s participation in the AEE-1 submarine cable connecting Europe to Asia via the Middle East.
Its proprietary infrastructure allows Retelit to provide direct and high capacity connectivity services, broadband and ultra-broadband data transmission, private IP and Ethernet networks and internet connectivity. Retelit has installed optical fiber Metropolitan Area Networks in Bergamo, Bologna, Brescia, Florence, Genoa, Milan, Modena, Naples, Padua, Reggio Emilia, Rome, Turin, Treviso, Udine, Verona and Bari (including a landing station for the AAE-1 submarine cable).
The Metropolitan Area Networks also connect some of the major technological and industrial centers and the facilities of the major telecom operators.
