Retelit and GO Internet: 5G high speed connectivity agreement reached

GO internet, a provider of 4G and 4.5G LTE, and Retelit, one of Italy’s leading data services and infrastructure providers, have signed a 5-year agreement for the provision of high speed fibre optic ultra-broadband connectivity and dedicated bandwidth to prepare the GO internet network for the advent of 5G.

Retelit’s ultra-broadband transport service, as highly versatile and scalable according to specific requirements, will handle the bandwidth demands to prepare the current GO internet 4.5G network and to adjust to the 5G standard. “The partnership with Retelit allows us to prepare the 4.5G network for the shift to 5G” stated Alessandro Frizzoni, Chief Executive Officer of GO internet. “Retelit is a qualified, reliable and professional partner and we are fully confident that they will provide the ultra fast connectivity necessary to connect our base radio stations to the fiber optic backbone”.
