Retelit to provide high-speed Starlink Internet to businesses and enterprises in Italy

Retelit, a leading Italian company in the Telco and ICT sector focused on the B2B market, announces today that it will provide high-speed Starlink Internet to bring the best connectivity experience to businesses and enterprises, including in the most remote areas and in the most complex environments, such as those characterised by mobility and large-scale geographic distribution.

Under the agreement, Retelit will offer the Starlink service together with its infrastructure services based on its fibre-optic network, data centres and cloud platforms. This is a natural extension of the Retelit infrastructure, enabling widespread coverage, operational continuity and reliable performance across the entire national territory, and supporting corporate projects with an international dimension.

The offering goes beyond simple Internet access. Delivering Starlink services together with the Retelit network makes it possible to build complete, high value-added and even particularly complex solutions, such as Layer 2 services. In this way, company sites distributed across the territory — even those very far apart or located in hard-to-reach areas — can communicate as if they were connected through a single Ethernet network, with uniform performance and guaranteed service levels.

Starlink connectivity also opens the way to special projects designed for companies operating in mobility or in non-traditional environments. It is possible to design dedicated solutions supporting activities on the move, both on land and at sea, ranging from the transport and logistics sectors to industrial and maritime operations, and extending to international projects that require reliable connectivity across multiple continents. Companies will be able to rely on immediately available and reliable connectivity, which can also be used as a backup solution to ensure operational continuity and uninterrupted services. The Starlink service will be provided by Retelit end-to-end: from supply and installation to activation, and from proactive monitoring to dedicated support.
