A further step is added to the international expansion process of the Retelit Group that enriches its value proposition by expanding the portfolio of services provided by the Point of Presence in Hong Kong, a city already reached by the Group's network, thanks to the AAE-1, TEA4 cable systems SJC and APG.
Retelit's Hong Kong Giga-Link Express service, in particular, is the high-availability, low-latency Ethernet connectivity solution designed to best serve service providers and financial institutions with first-class quality requirements to satisfy global mission-critical applications.
Hong Kong Giga-Link Express offers the lowest latency currently measurable from Hong Kong to Europe (in Milan and Frankfurt) and is based on the Group's proprietary infrastructure. In particular, the route from Hong Kong via Bari on the AAE-1 submarine cable is redundant through a second land system (TEA4) from Hong Kong to Frankfurt.
