Guido Bertinetti è il nuovo Chief Operating Officer di Retelit: focus su crescita e consolidamento, efficienza e innovazione
Retelit, Italy’s leading Telco & ICT operator focused on the B2B segment, today announced the appointment of Guido Bertinetti as Chief Operating Officer.
The executive will lead the Technology, Operations & Information Systems area, with a strong focus on process optimization and on strengthening Retelit’s infrastructures and services. The goal is to continue increasing customer satisfaction by delivering a customer experience among the best on the market.
Guido Bertinetti joined Retelit as Chief Integration Officer in 2025 and played a central role in leading the integration of MavianMax and Retelit-X. He brings with him a thirty-year career that began at Telecom Italia, where he contributed to the launch of the third mobile operator in Spain, later integrated into France Telecom, and continued at Ericsson, where he led operations in the Iberian Peninsula and the United Kingdom for over a decade. He has also held senior leadership roles in multinational companies such as TIM, Orange and Open Fiber, where he became Chief Network and Operations.
His appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the Group which, after years of transformation supported by targeted acquisitions, is now opening a new chapter focused on growth and consolidation. This phase aims to enhance skills and assets, further strengthened by the integration of Retelit-X, through the adoption of a more integrated, efficient and innovation-driven operating model to reinforce its competitive positioning.
“The appointment of Guido as Chief Operating Officer represents a choice of continuity and the enhancement of high-profile internal expertise to support the company in this new phase of growth and consolidation as a leading Telco & ICT market operator. His knowledge of Retelit and his previous experience in similar roles within the industry will be crucial in translating the growth achieved in recent years into an increasingly integrated, efficient and customer-oriented model” said Jorge Álvarez, CEO of Retelit.
"I am proud to take on this responsibility at such a significant time for Retelit. Our priority is to bring the investments already announced to full operational capacity, expanding and strengthening our network and data center infrastructures to enable the widespread adoption of AI and the most advanced digital technologies. We will continue to focus on operational excellence and innovation, supporting sustainable growth and generating concrete and tangible value for customers and the market,” commented Guido Bertinetti, COO of Retelit.
